I had developed interest in product management during the first few months of my MBA journey, where I was intrigued about knowing the process that goes behind ideation of a product to its launch and finally withdrawal from the market. Digging deeper, I realized how challenging is the role is and how much skills and experience you need to have before applying out there for this role. Unfortunately, MBA schools do not teach this course separately. Being started with this certification course by ProductHood, I have learnt not only soft skills but also tools and techniques required for a PM role. Its a well structured program which started with clearing my basics and now 4th week into this has taken me too far. Batch diversity with working with people from all over the world has helped me think out of the box and develop a wider perspective of looking at things. In one of the sessions, I got a chance to personally interact with Paytm PM and learn how the work actually goes on in the industry. I look forward to more of such learning.
