About Me
I am currently leading the PM team at Savonix, and I have working in this role for the last 8 months.
Before I ventured into the product, I was a lead software engineer. I found that I liked scoping ambiguous technology problems and working with people across the client side. I developed an interest towards business problems through many interactions with the client side. That prompted me to pursue a business degree.
After I graduated from my MBA in Singapore, I stepped in as product manager at Parkway healthcare where I stayed for 2 years, eventually taking ownership of the entire suite of digital products used by the patients. My products helped patients seamlessly book appointments, receive personalised health articles, receive prescription over a teleconsult and even estimate their overall bill amount online. I worked with team of 20+ to conduct research, identify patient needs to design user journeys and tackle the most important bottlenecks.
At my next stint in Verlocal, I managed 2 products – a B2C marketplace for activities/experiences and a B2B SAAS for freelancers who provide experiences. I solved problems for freelancers in the arts, crafts and tour verticals and improved the marketplace re-engagement rates.
Currently, I am managing a health screening product at Savonix and solve problems for doctors, patients, caregivers and insurance providers.
Outside of work, I mentor MBA students from my Alma mater business school. I have also spoken in events conducted by General Assembly and volunteered for product conferences such as mtpcon and product management festival.
