I am thrilled to see that in just 20 days ProductHood has become a essential part of my life. Lokesh Gupta has proved with his fellowship program that he is a Rockstar who can engage his students with his portal and maintain stickiness to the pragram in the best possible way. One can learn so much from this program and get the community of aspiring PM’s through his portal is just mindblowing. I have done couple of other Product Management courses before but this one is really different. With daily tasks, weekly assignments and regular targets I have gained lot of confidence on my capabilities as a PM. ProductHood community is a mini google for me now for my #productmanagement related questions. Thank you Lokesh Gupta for having me in this powerful program.

Why a PM Residency?
Product Managers are shaped through experience, not instruction.
Product Management is not a skill you “learn” in isolation. It is a role shaped by context, trade-offs, and accountability.
Most aspiring PMs understand frameworks but struggle when asked to:
- Decide what not to build
- Operate with incomplete information
- Work under real constraints
- That gap is where most PM courses fall short.
Getting into Product Management is hard not because of lack of content but because real PM experience is inaccessible early in your career.
You’re expected to “have done the work” before anyone lets you do the work.
This creates a chicken-and-egg problem that courses alone cannot solve.
This is exactly why the Product Management Residency exists.
Instead of teaching PM concepts in isolation,
you work inside a live product environment — where decisions matter, constraints are real, and outcomes are visible.
You don’t just learn what PMs do.
You experience how PMs think, decide, and operate.
This residency mirrors how early-stage products are actually built today:
- Small teams
- AI-first workflows
- Limited engineering bandwidth
- High ownership and accountability
You work directly with Lokesh Gupta as a PM, founder, and builder not through simulated projects or classroom exercises.
